Recent surveys showed that rural homes nowadays are costlier than urban ones. The value of average rural properties cost ten times more than an average daily waged worker which makes it more difficult for these people to pay for mortgage. Due to recent inflations and its effect on the economy, many young working people find it hard to even dream of purchasing their own homes which is very saddening. Further report said that rural house prices soared to more than 100% in the last five years and is still rising to date compared to a slow rise in pricing of urban houses. This problem is mainly due to lack of social housing projects in the rural area and the people who live there have lower earnings.
